Shipping Methods and Service Levels

DHL Express and Local Partners

We ship all orders via DHL Express, covering over 220 countries and territories. DHL ensures fast, reliable door-to-door transit, with electronic proof of delivery (signature and timestamp) available via their Track & Trace portal.,

In many destinations, DHL hands your parcel to a local partner for final delivery. This local expertise shortens last-mile times and provides familiar service in your country.

DHL Express Worldwide

  • Inside Germany: Delivery usually within 72 hours.

  • Europe: Delivery within 5 to 7 business days.

  • Outside Europe: Delivery can take up to 4 weeks depending on the country or territory your shippind adress is.

Tracking & Proof of Delivery

Electronic proof of delivery (signature, timestamp) available via DHL’s Track & Trace portal.

Shipping Options

CrustandCraft Shipment (we ship to your door)

CrustandCraft shipment is our premium door-to-door option via DHL Paclet and its partners. We pack carefully each package following the rules that DHL and / or the custom of that particular country has informed us.

  • Global reach: Ship anywhere in the world.

  • Cart selection: On the cart page, choose Sarah Shipment.

  • Cost: Calculated by weight using DHL rate tables. Includes eco-taxes for boxes, Europallets (if used), paper void-fill, handling fees, and all applicable German/EU environmental taxes.

  • Tracking: After dispatch, you’ll receive an email with your DHL tracking number(s).

  • UK customers: Upon receiving your DHL tracking, contact Parcel Force to finalize delivery and duties.

Offering a range of payment methods ensures you can choose the one you trust most + no matter where you live. Localized options (Bancontact, EPS, iDeal) often come with faster processing and lower fees for customers in Belgium, Austria, and the Netherlands, while global solutions (PayPal, Credit Cards, SEPA, Wire Transfers) cater to virtually every country. By giving you flexibility, we reduce abandoned carts and let you focus on finding the perfect items.

Own Shipping

If you prefer to manage shipment yourself and your order is over 1000 euro:

  • Cart selection: Choose Own Shipping on the cart page.
  • Fee: A flat handling charge covering packing materials and labor.
  • Export documentation: For non-EU addresses, we supply ABD export papers, Proforma invoice, and Packing List – everything your carrier needs.

Customs & Documentation

Confirmation & Dispatch Email

Once your order status changes to “Completed”, you’ll get an email from site@crustandcraft.eu which will contract one or more DHL tracking links. Each link represents a parcel.

Multiple Parcels

Large orders may ship in multiple packages arriving over a few days. Check your tracking dashboard for the total parcel count – rest assured, the complete order is on its way.

Return & Redirection Fees

If you redirect or return a shipment, DHL charges a €10 return fee per parcel, plus outbound costs. These fees are billed to the customer.

Customs & Documentation

Europallet Requirements

For orders over €1,000, our logistics team may consolidate items on a standard Europallet (120 × 80 cm).

Transit Modes & Costs

  • Within Europe: Road freight via DHL subsidiary.
  • Outside Europe: DHL Paket Air freight or ship freight, resulting in higher shipping costs and expedited transit.

Required Documents

To clear customs smoothly, you (or your import agent) must provide (take in consideration that this are general shipping information and it is better to do your own due dilligence with an import agent from your country):

  • EORI number (EU traders and certain non-EU shippers)
  • Proforma invoice detailing item values
  • Packing List with weights and dimensions
  • ABD export accompanying document (for goods > €1,000 or > 1,000 kg)

Customer Responsibilities

Packaging & Protection

Accurate company name, EORI, VAT ID, and address details are essential. Mistakes lead to customs delays, storage fees, or fines.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We pack products in sturdy, recyclable cartons with paper-based void-fill to absorb shocks and protect against rough handling.

Damaged Goods & Return Policy

  • Report damage within 3 days of delivery using our Refund Policy form. Include photos of both the damaged item and its packaging. You can read our Refund Policy and complete the Refund form here.
  • Return conditions: Items must be in original packaging with all accessories and accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
  • EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal: You may cancel any purchase within 14 days after delivery, no reason needed. You cover return shipping unless otherwise agreed.

Shipping Costs & Eco-Taxes

CrustandCraft Shipment Cost Structure

  • Weight-based rates set by DHL
  • Eco-taxes for packaging materials (boxes, filling paper) per German VerpackG
  • Europallet surcharge (if applicable)
  • Handling fee for order processing

Own Shipping Fees

  • Packing and handling charge for packing labor and materials.

  • Export document fee included for non-EU shipments.

Prohibited Destinations

Delivering in War Zones & Sanctioned Areas

We do not ship to active war zones or countries under EU/UN sanctions. We continuously monitor global news and suspend destinations as required for safety and compliance
